Key responsibilities

The goal: Spearhead product management with speed, skill and scale. Strengthen Product/Market fit to achieve the company’s goal of doubling growth yoy. Work with almost all key functions of the company to bring the best in class product positioning out to the internal and external stakeholders. To be more specific:

  • Execute product vision and strategy; and lead the design, development, and launch of new products and features to accelerate growth
  • Develop frameworks and processes to correctly prioritise future product development; and with input from the stakeholders, build, prune, and maintain the backlog (user stories, defects, refactors and infrastructure work); developing best practices to prioritise backlog items based on user value, time dependencies, risk reduction and effort
  • Leverage and implement best in class product development and management practices
  • Lead experimentation through A/B tests to improve performance on key business metrics
  • For the  planned product & feature releases – oversee product launches including developing the necessary sales support materials, marketing content and launch plans, customer and partner documentation; and establish and track product success criteria post-launch. Work with product delivery and help resolve technical obstacles for the product team
  • For the future new product releases – conduct market, competitors and user needs analysis, working with key internal and external stakeholders, and synthesize the requirements to communicate to the development teams
  • Drive product adoption and automation removing any hurdles / points of friction in customer onboarding and experience; and ensure there is enough documentation and troubleshooting info to drive Klevu effectively into a zero-touch solution for merchants reducing the load on support teams
  • Build strategic marketing plan focused on a) strategic content plan for Klevu, b) communication strategy and PR, c) impactful and scalable activities to drive new MQLs and SQLs
  • Create segmentation toolboxes for different products / markets developing go-to-market strategy, value proposition, product positioning and effective messaging (sales supporting materials, customer / partner materials, thought leadership blog posts, white papers and customer success stories)
  • Work in collaboration with leadership to develop and execute plans for products to support retention, ARPA increase, partner driven programs etc
  • Develop key product KPIs and dashboards (including defining engagement metrics, PMF metrics etc)

Required skills/traits:

  • You have spearheaded and launched innovative and differentiated products with resulting revenue over $10M
  • You have experience building products in Retail tech/SaaS for 5+ years
  • You have 10+ years of overall software product management experience, 3+ as a manager/leader; technically proficient and able to collaborate directly with cross functional teams
  • You are experienced in leading product strategy processes, conducting analyst briefs, contributing on enterprise sales calls, developing product roadmaps, and executing product development processes.
  • You have built and scaled global SaaS products and ecosystems that people love and that deliver clear value
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive stakeholders, participating in the sales process, and handling sensitive customer escalations as well as managing cross cultural teams
  • You’re dedicated to your craft and want to work amongst a team that will inspire you on a daily basis
  • You are an agile thinker, positive, creative, curious, and aren’t afraid to ask a lot of questions
  • You can take candid feedback well and are looking to grow your skill sets
  • You are OK with multi-tasking and can synthesize multiple perspectives to get the most important thing done
  • You are detail oriented and organized
  • You have experience of working with distributed teams and multiple time zones in the past
