Lead QA


Experience: 7+ years

We are looking for a passionate Lead QA for our software product. As a Lead QA, you will be responsible for building a quality driven engineering culture that helps ship products rapidly and with confidence.


  • Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
  • Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to automate testing that prevents regressions and ensures reliability of releases
  • Lead and mentor QA team members.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to improve Engineering as a whole


  • At least 7 years of experience in software quality assurance manual and automation testing.
  • Proven record of test strategy and planning, STLC, deployment, defect tracking, and test harness.
  • Must have working knowledge of technical POC and automation feasibility for various projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the Test methodologies, SDLC (i.e. Agile, Scrum), STLC, Bug Life Cycle
  • Must have hands-on test automation experience on any commercial & open source tools like Selenium, UFT, UI path etc.
  • Working knowledge of any of the Test Management Tools (e.g. TestRail, QMetry)
  • Working knowledge of any version control system (e.g. SVN, git)
  • Must be competent enough on API testing using Rest Assured and Postman.
  • Performance testing experience with relevant automation and monitoring tools (e.g.jmeter, load runner)
  • Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
Nice to have:
  • ISTQB Certification
  • Agile Processes and DevOps experience along with continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Exposure to performance testing
  • Experience in developing various automation frameworks (Hybrid, POM, BDD_Cucumber).
  • Working knowledge of any programming/scripting language
  • Knowledge of Software Build Automation tools (e.g. Maven, Ant, Gradle)
